From 15:00 on 1 March 2010 a new student club will be opened in the U12 building (nám. T.G.Masaryka 3050). All visitors will receive a small surprise.

Due to an increase in the VAT rate as from 1 January 2010 the prices for services provided by HRR have been changed.

The refectories at U4 and U5, the cafeteria at U2 as well as the restaurant at U13 are open till Monday 21/12/2009. All the above mentioned premises will open again on Monday 04/01/2010.

We are pleased to invite you to attend a concert performed by a notable Italian orchestra SALVADEI BRASS. The ensemble is going to perform works by Verdi, Bizet, Gershwin and other world authors.

Between 06:00 and 22:00 on Saturday, 19/05/2007, hot water will be turned off at the Residence Hall TGM 3050 due to technical reasons.

Dear students, please note that new waste separation containers have been installed in front of the Residence Halls. These are intended for plastics, paper, glass and remaining waste.

The management of the Residence Hall TGM 3050 would like to inform you that the disinsection spray is to be applied in all students’ rooms of the above-mentioned Residence Hall on 18/04/2007. We would like to ask all university students residing at the Residence Hall to permit the disinsection company staff to enter their rooms.

Dear students,

This is just a note to inform you that a disinsection (spraying rooms and corridors in order to get rid of the insects) is scheduled to take place on Friday 02/03/2007 in the premises of the Halls of Residence TGM 3050 (building U12).

Therefore, we beg you to clean the rooms, kitchenette and sanitary facilities. It is absolutely inevitable to:
- to wipe and clean the floor in the dormitory with a vacuum cleaner
- tidy away foodstuffs (especially open tins and bottles) and kitchen utensils from below the kitchen cupboard
- leave the spraying to work for 1 week (do not clean the floor!)

Although the spraying does not smell and is not harmful to health, try to avoid spending the whole day in your room if possible.

Students are enabled to borrow a vacuum cleaner and detergents (situated on the ground floor) after presenting their accommodation card at the reception

In the U5 Refectory (Jižní svahy campus) dinner is to be served starting from 05/02/2007.
Serving time: Monday through Friday, between 16:30 and 18:00.

During the Christmas holidays the refectory will be closed between 23/12/2006 and 01/01/2007 and open starting from Tuesday 02/01/2007.

Since 28/11 baguettes are on sale at the reception desks of the following Residence Halls: Antonínova, Štefánikova, TGM.
A wide assortment of baguettes to choose from.

Supper:
Starting from 25/09/06 supper is to be served from 17:00 to 19:00, only in the Refectory in Štefánikova Street/U4 building, Monday through Thursday.
On Friday no supper is served due to lack of interest.

All employees are entitled to receive the SYAS meal tickets during 15 working days.

Extended offer: In the U4 Refectory (students' serving facility) ice cream can be bought at the cash desk.

Due to the construction of the Congress and University Centre in Zlín some of the access roads to the Refectory (campus U4) have been closed off.

In the summer term from 04/02/06 to 07/05/06 the cafeteria in the rectorate building U2, Mostni Street 5139, will be open on Saturdays.

Starting from 2^nd January 2006 the Refectory Štefánikova 2431 (building U4) will accept the SYAS meal tickets.

Due to the closing of the refectory during the Christmas Holidays - from 23/12/05 to 01/01/06 - the university employees are entitled to obtain the SYAS meal tickets (except for those who take a holiday in those days). The meal tickets for December must be collected at the main cashier's office in advance, on 22/12/05 at the latest.

In the Halls of Residence of the Tomas Bata University there are about 70 vacant places available. Students can therefore apply for accommodation. For further information, please contact the Accommodation Services Clerks:
